Linear SoftPots - Touch Sensitive Potentiometers

These touch sensitive potentiometers are a great way to add finger slide sensing on your projects.  These are designed and made by Spectra Symbol, a leading sensor manufacturer in tactile interaction sensors.

The ring-shaped, Rotary SoftPot was used in the hugely popular iPods in the early 2000s, to allow users to slide their finger around the ring and tap the ring to interact with the device. These are a strip version to allow for similar interactions to be included in your projects.
