Refund policy
We employ a 14-day returns policy: you have 14 days after receiving your physical item to request a return.
Return Claims Process
To start a return claim, contact our team at sales@tinkery.com.au with your:
- Order Number,
- Item(s) that you are claiming,
- reason for claim, and
- Any photos, video, or documented evidence to justify the claim.
If your claim is accepted, we will send you instructions on the implementation of the decision (return, replace, or refund).
Items sent back to us without first requesting from us and us approving a return claim will not be accepted.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, including but not limited to:
- Perishable goods (such as food, flowers, or plants);
- Digital goods, including digital licenses and digital subscriptions;
- Consumable goods (such as single use items or opened materials);
- Custom products (such as special orders or personalised items);
- Personal care goods (such as beauty products);
- Hazardous materials, including batteries, flammable liquids, and gases;

Sale Items Policy
Sale items are sold as-is, with any product faults or defects detailed in the product description. Please review the product description carefully before placing your order, as we cannot accept returns on sale items due to change of mind.
Exchanges Process
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to lodge a Return Claim as above, return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
Refunds Process
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund has been approved. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method.
We ask for your patience as it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and issue the refund to you.
Change of Mind Returns Policy
If you change your mind about a purchase, it is at our discretion whether we accept a return for refund. We will generally accept a return provided the product is unused in their original condition, and if the product is not a consumable or software.
Change of Mind returns will only be eligible for a refund on the products sale prices less a 30% restocking fee. Initial postage in Change of Mind cases cannot be refunded once shipped.
All return postage and any insurance costs are payable by the customer in Change of Mind returns.
Warranty
All products sold by Tinkery come with a 30-day warranty. The warranty warrants you that the product you receive is in good and working condition to serve its purpose as specified by the manufacturers or us in the listing.
Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.
If an item sold by Tinkery is confirmed to be defective, not working or not serving the purpose specified when it is received, it will be treated as DOA (Dead On Arrival). The warranty period for DOA is 30 days from the date the item is delivered to you.
Any products determined to be defective within the warranty period specified by Tinkery will be claimable and honoured by Tinkery.
Changes
We may update our Returns Policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons.
