These Flex Sensors are used for measuring mechanical deflection and bending. Great for wearables, interactive devices, and detecting movement on bendy surfaces.
Our Flex Sensors are made by Spectra Symbol, a leading manufacturer of tactile and touch sensors.
These Flex Sensors were used in the Nintendo Power Glove, an interactive wearable game controller for the Nintendo Entertainment System (NES) back in the 1980s. These sensors were placed in each of the fingers and thumb to detect when the player closed their hand and moved their fingers.
These sensors all come with male pins, ready to use for prototyping on a breadboard, or for soldering onto wires for your project.
We supply various lengths to suit your projects.
